"Children's Worship and Wonder" ministry, a time of worship and story time for children, allows God's message to be shared with the children in a way that is understandable at their age level during the morning worship time. Our youth group, for Middle School and High School, currently meets on Wednesday evenings begining at 5:30 with a dinner followed by fellowship, study, and worship. Hampton Christian Church is part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination. We believe that Jesus is our savior and helps us to live daily as believers. We also offer an invitation each Sunday for any believer to participate in the communion meal. Confessing the BEATITUDES

This year, the Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF) will be studying the ecumenical bible study, Confessing the Beatitudes.

Our study focuses on scriptures from Matthew 5:1-12 and Luke 6:20-26 and of course includes many complementary scriptures. As we discuss a beatitude per month, we will also practice confessing our truths as we make each Beatitude a part of our faith journey of discipleship – moving from confessing to action. Each month’s topic will be posted on the hallway CWF board and down below. Alice Little will be study leader and Susan Morris our worship leader. ALL are welcomed beginning on January 17^th – 10 AM @ the church.

RENEW Sunday Evening Service

RENEW is a different style to our morning worship experience through a simpler style and acoustic based praise and worship music. We will have communion each Sunday as well as incorporating different times of prayer and interaction with each other. You are invited to come and check out this service and take advantage of another opportunity to experience God and God's working in your life. Click here for more information.

Beginning July 17^th, the Renew Service will begin a journey exploring Images of Faith. Each Sunday, we will explore a different aspect of the faith using pictures that are taken and submitted as people have signed up for them. See the right side pane for the schedule of the images and come and see and participate!

For those who are not familiar with blogs, blog is short for Web Log and they are a way in which interested parties can have an online discussion dealing with various topics. As I post different things, you will have an opportunity to respond and share your thoughts with others too. This type of community will allow people to be a part who are not in the area and can be participated in when there is time instead of a predetermined time and place.
