Hampton Christian Church is part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination.  We believe that Jesus is our savior and helps us to live daily as believers.  We also offer an invitation each Sunday for any believer to participate in the communion meal.

You can find out more about us and the Christian Chruch (Disciples of Christ) by checking out more of this site or going to Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or Christian Church in Virginia.

We hope that as you find out more about the church, you will be encouraged to come and discover us in person.  The relationship that you will develop with Jesus will change your life and the people here at the Hampton Christian Church can help support and encourage you in that journey.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon.

Up Coming Church Events

Sunday School Kick Off and Promotion

September 5 and 12 will be our Sundays that will kick off our new year in our Sunday School ministry.  The 5th will be a time of singing and fun to begin with and then followed by meeting new teachers.  The 12th will be the first full Sunday in the new classes and students of all ages are encouraged to invite friends and families to join us for this great day.  We have Sunday School for all ages and look forward to seeing everyone here for that wonderful time.

District VIII Board Meeting and Training

The District VIII Board Meeting and Training time will be held on September 11th at Westside Christian Church.  The meeting will begin at 8:30 with a short board meeting; 9:00 will be workshops on Elders, Deacons, and Church Growth; 11:00 will be a time of worship together.  This is open to all who would like to attend and it is free of charge.

RENEW Sunday Evening Service

RENEW will be back at our regular time after Vacation Bible School.  This week we are continuing in Acts and focusing on 19:20-26.  We are also welcoming special guests, the True North, community from St. Marks.  They are going to worship with us as they continue to rest from hosting VGS.

RENEW is a different style to our morning worship experience through a simpler style and praise and worship music.  We will have communion each Sunday as well as incorporating different times of prayer and interaction with each other.  You are invited to come and check out this service and take advantage of another opportunity to experience God and God's working in your life.  Click here for more information.
